In the name of Allah the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Thank God alone, and peace be upon the final prophet, his family, companions, and whoever upholds his guidance until dooms day.

News agencies have reported confirmed news and shocking scenes of the massacres perpetrated by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) supported and backed by the international Coalition forces on women, children and unarmed in the Baguz area, which is a heartbreaking incident, that moves every living conscience in the world at anyone who still has the slightest sense of humanity or even a trace of human rights.

The Syrian Islamic Council, on these horrific massacres, reaffirms the following:

First, the council condemns, in the strongest term of denouncement and condemnation, these ugly barbaric massacres that targeted innocent civilians and demands the immediate cessation of such acts.

Secondly, counter-terrorism and fighting terrorists do not justify the horrible massacres and killing innocent civilians, while maintaining that the states who claim to fight terrorism are the ones who have made it, or contributed to its making in one way or another.

Thirdly, what SDF is perpetrating constantly in several areas would have disastrous consequences on the fabric of Syrian society. Its effects will remain in the memory of our people for decades, and they will remain as a black stain in the history of this criminal gang.

At the end, we ask God to protect our Syrian people, its women, children and elderlies, to be their supporter in their plight, and to save them from the plots of the wrong-doers.
