In the name of Allah the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Praise be to Allah; No aggression shall be but on the oppressors; prayer and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and his companions all.

The Syrian regime still persists in its crimes against the Syrian people. It proves every day that it doesn’t have a shred of dignity or honor. Instead of pouring its wrath against the Zionists who keep violating the Syrian territories and sky day and night, it always retains the right to respond, while the response only comes on the defenseless poor Syrian people, who were displaced by this very regime from their homes and towns into camps lacking the slightest prerequisites of decent living, where people are bedded in the open and covered by the sky, under tents that do not protect them from heat, cold or rain with completely absent infrastructure in addition to the overcrowded conditions after successive waves of displacement.

The regime has yesterday targeted these camps with a rocket carrying cluster bombs in order to cause the largest casualties among civilians. Watched and heard by the whole world, it killed and injured dozens of women and children and burnt down their tents in a horrible scene, a disgrace to the humanity. On this awful crime, the Syrian Islamic Council (SIC) states the following:

First, it condemns in the strongest terms this crime, and denounce the silence of the international community’s governments and bodies, and calls upon all free nations to take action to condemn this licentious coward act.

Second, SIC urges all revolutionary actors, mosque preachers, and Syrians in general inside and outside Syria, particularly those in liberated areas to make tomorrow, Friday, a day of rage and condemnation of this awful crime.

In the end, we pray God to grant His mercy and forgiveness to Martyrs, His healing and wellness to the injured and His support to the homeless, and to facilitate their dignified and triumphed home-return circumstances. We pray Him, whose name is “The Retaliator”, to retaliate from this regime and his supporters and allies, the new “Ahzab”, like Russia, Iran and the sectarian criminal gangs. Verily, he is the Supreme and the Almighty Who nothing could be out of His power on this earth or in the sky. Praise be to Allah Lord of the worlds.
