In the name of of Allah the Merciful

Praise be to God, and prayers be upon the Messenger of God, his family, companions, and those who follow him:

Dozens of camps in northern Syria are exposed to severe rainstorms, followed by torrential floods that swept through the camps and drowned many of them, uprooting many tents, and these storms were accompanied by severe cold waves with the lack of heating and fuel needed for the camp residents.

The affected areas also suffer from the  COVID-19 (Corona) epidemic breakout with the lack of medical capabilities, which threatens a lot of people’s lives and exposes them to the risk of diseases and epidemics in these tragic humanitarian situations.

The Syrian Islamic Council, in the face of these catastrophic situations, appeals to states, peoples, international organizations, relief societies and all free and good people in the world to give a helping hand and provide rapid assistance and emergency aid to those affected.

The Lord of the universe, Allah the Most High says: “Whatever you spend, He will replace it; and He is the Best of providers.” And The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, Allah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Resurrection”

So, we hope that everyone who is reached by this call will help to alleviate this great affliction, we ask God to lift the affliction and the plague on our fellow refugees and to help them in these difficult days, and He is the Most Merciful.
